Start and end your working day

Your day starts when you tap Start my day and ends when you tap End my day. Attendance and tracking follow from these two taps.

Updated 2026-11-01

Salespeople and delivery staff begin and finish each working day in the Today tab. These two taps decide your attendance and when background location tracking runs.

Start your day

  1. Open the Today tab. If you have not started, the app reminds you: "Start your day before your first visit."
  2. If your company supplies shops through dealers, the app asks "Which dealer are you working with today?" and shows the area you are standing in, for example "Area: {name}". Tap the dealer's name. If the screen says "Outside your territories" or "No dealers found in your area.", you are outside your assigned area or no dealer is set up there.
  3. Tap Start my day. The first time, the app shows a disclosure titled Location tracking during your working day. It explains that your location is recorded in the background from the moment you start the day until you end it, and that your company uses it for attendance, store visits and time at outlets.
  4. Tap I understand, continue, then allow location access "All the time" when your phone asks.
  5. The day starts and the screen shows "Day started at {time}".

If location permission is missing you will see "Location permission is needed for attendance and visits".

Work through your stops

Under Route stops you see the outlets planned for today, in order. Tap Check in on a stop to begin a visit. If there is no route, the app says "No route for today. You can visit any outlet from Parties." The screen also shows "{n} visits today", and Payments to follow up with overdue amounts. If a visit is open, tap Continue visit to carry on.

End your day

  1. When you finish, return to Today.
  2. Write something in End-of-day note if you wish: market news, problems or tomorrow's plan.
  3. Tap End my day. You will see "Day ended at {time}".

Tracking stops when you end the day or sign out.

Why it matters

Attendance is worked out automatically from your day start and visits, in Nepal time. Arriving more than 15 minutes after the company's start time counts as late. Ending early is shown as "Left early".

Tip: Start your day as soon as you leave for work, not after the first shop. A day that is not started can raise a "Day not started" alarm for your manager.

Tip: Keep location on and the app installed all day. A banner shows "Tracking your route" when tracking is working.
