Collect a payment from a shop
Choose the shop, enter the amount and the method, add a reference if there is one, and tap Record payment.

When a shop or dealer pays you, record it in the app straight away. The payment reaches the office immediately and reduces what the party owes.
Open the payment screen
- From Home, tap Collect payment, then choose the shop in Parties.
- In Parties, tap Collect beside a shop.
- During a visit, tap Collect payment. The shop is already selected.
At the top you see the shop's balance: "Balance due: NPR {amount}".
Record the payment
- Enter the Amount (NPR). The button stays disabled until the amount is more than zero.
- Choose the Method: Cash, eSewa, Khalti, Fonepay QR, Bank transfer or Cheque.
- In Reference / receipt no., type the cheque number, the transaction ID shown in the wallet app, or your receipt book number. This makes the entry easy to match later.
- Tap Record payment. It shows "Saving…" and then "Payment of NPR {amount} recorded".
What happens to the money
Back at the office, a payment is applied to the party's open invoices, oldest first. If you collect more than is due, the extra stays as an Advance on the party's account. A dealer sees this on Home as Advance instead of Balance due.
If a payment is outstanding
On Today, Payments to follow up lists invoices that are overdue, for example "NPR {amount} overdue {days} days". Use it to decide which shops to press for payment.
Mistakes and connection problems
- If you have no signal, the app says "Could not reach the server. Check your connection and try again." The payment is not saved, so record it once you are connected.
- If you entered a wrong amount or method after saving, tell your office. Payments are kept as a permanent record, so the office adds a correcting entry rather than erasing the old one.
Tip: For eSewa, Khalti and Fonepay, always copy the transaction ID into the reference field. It is the proof you will need if the money is questioned.
Tip: Hand over a receipt and write its number in the reference, so the paper and the app match.
