Add a new outlet from your phone

Stand inside the new shop, fill in its details, capture the location and submit. A manager approves it before it appears for everyone.

When you meet a shop that is not yet in gamitrack, you can add it yourself. To stop wrong locations from entering the system, every new outlet waits for a manager's approval.

Add the outlet

  1. Go to Home and tap Add outlet, or open the Parties tab and tap Add outlet.
  2. Choose the Type of business.
  3. Enter the Shop name and the Owner name.
  4. Enter the Phone number, the Address and the District.
  5. Stand inside or right in front of the shop, then tap Use my current location. The app shows "Getting location…" and then "Location captured: {lat}, {lng}".
  6. Tap Submit for approval. It shows "Saving…" and then "Sent for approval. It goes live after a manager approves it."

If you try to save before capturing a location, you see "Capture the shop's location first". If your phone has not given permission, you see "Location permission is needed to add an outlet". Allow location for the app in your phone settings and try again.

What happens next

The outlet appears in your Parties list marked Pending approval. A manager opens Parties in the admin console, reviews the Proposed location under Pending location requests, and chooses Approve or Reject. After approval the outlet becomes active, and you can take orders, collect payments and check in there. Details are in Add parties and approve outlets.

Why the location matters

Check-ins are compared with the shop's saved location. If the saved point is wrong, your honest visits can look "away from the outlet" and be flagged. Capturing the point while standing at the shop door gives the cleanest result.

Fixing a wrong location

Ask your manager to use Request location change on the party's page in the admin console. Changes also go through approval.

Tip: Switch on your phone's GPS and wait a few seconds outside before tapping the location button, for a more exact point.

Tip: Write the shop name the way customers know it, so colleagues can find it by search.
