Work week, holidays, attendance and routes
Attendance is worked out automatically from day starts and visits. You set the rules: weekend, start time, holidays and routes.
Updated 2026-11-01
Nobody has to mark attendance by hand in gamitrack. It is worked out from when each person starts their day and from their visits, in Nepal time. You set the rules that it follows.
Set the work week
- Open Settings and choose the Work week tab.
- Tick the Weekend (weekly off) days.
- Set Work starts at. Starting more than 15 minutes later counts as late.
- Set Check-in radius (metres). A visit checked in farther than this from the shop is flagged.
- Save.
A person can have their own weekend: in Users, open the weekend cell on their row, tick the days and click Save weekend. Leaving it empty uses the company weekend.
Add holidays
- Open Settings, then Holidays, and choose the Year.
- Under Ready-made lists, click Use this list to add a list prepared for you. The page confirms how many days were added and how many you already had.
- To add your own, enter the Date, Name and Name (Nepali), then click Add holiday.
- Use Remove to delete a day.
Holidays never count as absent.
Plan routes
- Open Routes in the Field group and fill in New route: Route name, Salesperson and the Days of the week.
- Click Create route.
- Open the route, click Add stop, and Choose an outlet. Repeat for each shop.
- Use Move up and Move down to set the order, and Remove to delete a stop.
- Use Pause to stop using a route for a while (it shows as Paused) and Resume to bring it back (Active).
The stops appear on the salesperson's phone in this order, on the days you chose.
Read the attendance grid
Open Attendance. Pick the Month with Previous month and Next month. Each person has a row, and each day shows a letter:
- P Present, L Late, A Absent
- W Day off, H Holiday
- · Before joining, … Not yet
The column Early leaves counts days when a person left early. The status Left early appears when someone ends their day sooner than expected.
Fix a wrong result
Check the work week, the person's custom weekend and the holiday list first. These settings explain most surprises.
Tip: Add the year's holidays at the start of the Nepali fiscal year.
Tip: Keep routes short enough to finish in a working day.
