Understand and resolve alarms

Alarms flag situations that need a manager's attention while the team is working. The salesperson is notified in the app too.

Updated 2026-11-01

Alarms shows live alerts raised by field tracking during the working day. The salesperson also receives a notification in the app, so most issues can be fixed at once.

Open the Alarms page

Open Alarms in the Field group. Use the filters Open, Resolved or All. Each row shows When, the Staff member, the Alarm type and Detail. If nothing is raised, it says "No alarms."

At the top, Lowest scores today lists the people with the lowest daily Score. Click View day to open their day.

Alarm types

The alarms you may see:

  • Outside territory: the location is outside the assigned territory.
  • Idle for a long time and Long stay away from stores: long time at one place that is not a shop.
  • Phone silent: no location sent for a while.
  • Day not started: the working day has not been started in the app.
  • Location turned off and Location permission reduced: tracking cannot run properly.
  • Fake GPS detected: a mock-location app was found.
  • Impossible movement and Location frozen: movement faster than any vehicle, or no change at all.
  • Phone clock wrong: the phone's time does not match real time.
  • Long offline period: points arrived late with few readings.
  • Route stop skipped: a planned outlet was not visited.
  • Check-ins from one spot: several outlets checked in from the same spot.
  • Visit without check-in: time spent at an outlet without checking in.

Resolve an alarm

  1. Click an open alarm to see its Detail. Use View day if you want the full picture.
  2. Talk to the person if you need to. Many alarms have honest causes, such as a dead battery or a long tunnel.
  3. In Resolution, write what happened.
  4. Click Resolve. The alarm moves to Resolved.

The integrity score

Each day gets a Score that falls when suspicious findings are detected. On the day view, What lowered it lists the reasons. Use the score to start a conversation, rather than as a final verdict.

What the salesperson sees

Their app Inbox shows the message with the Alarm label, in plain language such as "Your phone has not sent its location for a while. Keep the app open and location on."

Tip: Look at repeated alarms for the same person, not single ones.

Tip: Explain to your team what the alarms mean before you switch on strict follow-up.
