Finish the setup checklist
The checklist on your dashboard lists nine steps. Each one ticks itself when the work is done.
Updated 2026-11-01
After you create your company, the Dashboard shows a Get set up card. It is the quickest way to get a company ready for field work, and it keeps count, for example "3 of 9 done".
How the checklist works
Each step has a short hint and an Open button that takes you to the right page. Steps tick themselves as you go, so you never have to mark anything by hand. Next to the steps there is How it works, which opens the Guide page. When you no longer need the card, click Hide checklist.
The nine steps
- Add your PAN and address: printed on every tax invoice. Found in Settings, tab Company.
- Set your work week: the weekend, work start time and check-in radius drive attendance. Settings, tab Work week.
- Add holidays: use a ready-made list or add your own. Settings, tab Holidays.
- Add products and SKUs: what your team sells, with units. See Add products and set prices.
- Set prices: a default price list, with special prices per party type or party.
- Invite your salespeople: they sign in to the phone app with their email. See Add your staff.
- Add outlets and dealers: with their exact location so visits can be checked. See Add parties and approve outlets.
- Plan routes: which outlets each salesperson visits on which days. Open Routes in the Field group.
- Choose how you supply shops: directly, or through dealers, plus payment due days. Settings, tab Supply & payments.
About the supply step
In Supply & payments you answer "How do shops get your goods?". We supply shops directly means every order is a company sale from your branch stock. Through dealers / vendors means dealers buy from you, shops order from their dealer, and your officers book those secondary orders and earn commission on them. Payment due days are counted from the dispatch date, and a party's own credit days override them.
A sensible order
Do steps 1 to 3 first, because they take minutes. Then products and prices, then staff, then outlets. Routes come last because they need both staff and outlets.
Tip: The Dashboard also shows stat cards for parties, salespeople, SKUs and low stock, which fill up as you add data.
Tip: Hiding the checklist does not remove any data.
