Switch between English and Nepali

gamitrack works in English and Nepali. Set the company language in Settings, and switch language in the app any time.

Updated 2026-11-01

gamitrack is available in English and Nepali. English is the default, and Nepali is the second language. Labels, buttons and messages are translated, so a salesperson can work fully in Nepali while the office works in English.

Set the company language

  1. Open Settings and stay on the Company tab, titled Company profile.
  2. Find the Language field.
  3. Choose English or नेपाली.
  4. Click Save. You will see "Saved."

Only owners and admins can open Settings.

Switch language in the phone app

Every person can pick their own language in the app, independent of the company setting.

  1. Open the Account tab.
  2. Find Language.
  3. Tap English or नेपाली. The app changes language straight away.

The choice stays on that phone. If you sign in on a new phone, pick your language again.

Dates and numbers

Dates are stored in a single standard form and shown to you in Bikram Sambat. The Dashboard greeting shows today's date in both Bikram Sambat and English, for example "Today is {BS date} ({AD date})". Tax invoices show Date (BS) and Date (AD) side by side, and print the amount In words. Amounts are in NPR (shown as रु in Nepali).

Names you type

Text you type yourself, such as a product name, a shop name or a note, stays exactly as you typed it. gamitrack does not translate it. For holidays, you can enter a Name and a Name (Nepali) so that each language shows the right one.

Tip: If your team is more comfortable in Nepali, ask each person to switch the app language once from the Account tab. It takes a few seconds.

Tip: When you write a broadcast to the field team, write the message in the language they use.
