Set officer targets, dealer targets and schemes

Officers get monthly targets, dealers get yearly targets by quarter, and schemes reward dealers for selling to shops.

Targets give everyone a number to aim at, and the app shows each person their progress. Schemes reward dealers who sell more to shops.

Officer targets

  1. Open Targets in the Sales group and choose the Officers tab.
  2. Choose the Month.
  3. For each officer, enter Target kg and Target NPR, then click Save (the button may read Set target).
  4. The table also shows Done kg, Done NPR, Achieved (a percentage) and Needed per day, the pace required to reach the target by month end.

What counts as "done" is the officer's secondary sales, the orders from shops to dealers that the officer books. In the app, the officer sees the same card under This month, such as "{done} of {target} kg", with "Needed per day". If no target is set, it says "No target set for this month."

Dealer targets

  1. Choose the Dealers tab and the Fiscal year.
  2. For each dealer, enter the Year target kg and Year target NPR.
  3. The year is split into four quarters, Q1 to Q4, following the Nepali fiscal year. You can edit each quarter's share.
  4. Click Save.

Dealers see their yearly progress and the current quarter on Home under This year.

Create a scheme

A scheme rewards dealers according to what they sell to shops in a period.

  1. Open Schemes and click New scheme.
  2. Enter the Name, and the dates From and To.
  3. Under Measured on, choose Kg sold to shops or Value sold to shops.
  4. Under Tiers, set each level: From (the minimum), the Reward type (% of sales or Fixed NPR) and its Value. Click Add tier for more levels.
  5. Under Dealers (none = all), choose specific dealers, or leave empty for all.
  6. Click Create scheme.

Calculate and approve rewards

  1. Open the scheme and click Calculate. The page lists each dealer's Achieved value and their Reward.
  2. Check the figures, then click Approve. The status changes to Approved.
  3. When you approve, the reward is credited to the dealer's account ledger.

Schemes show Active, Ended or Paused. Use Pause and Resume if you need to stop one for a while. Until you calculate, the page says "No awards calculated yet."

What dealers see

In the dealer app, Schemes shows "Reward so far: NPR {amount}" and "{gap} more to reach the next reward".

Tip: Set targets in kg if your products are sold by weight. The app shows the daily kg an officer needs.

Tip: Announce a new scheme with a broadcast so people know it started.
